Hi there! 

Hi there, I’m Millie—a passionate personal trainer, fitness enthusiast, and mum of two lively boys, Lucas and Leo. Welcome to Millie Moves, my little corner of the web where fitness, wellness, and lifestyle come together. Let me tell you a bit more about who I am and what inspires me every day.

My Journey into Fitness

Growing up in Göteborg, Sweden, I was always on the move. From football and athletics to skiing, I developed a love for staying active at a young age. At 18, I took a leap and moved to the UK to study Sports and Exercise Science at Loughborough University, one of the top institutions for sports education. It was here that my passion for fitness truly evolved into a calling.

Over the years, I’ve worked as a personal trainer in both the UK and the UAE, helping women from all walks of life achieve their fitness goals. Whether it’s guiding someone through their first gym session or designing advanced training programs, I find so much joy in empowering others to feel strong, confident, and healthy.

Certifications and Achievements

My career is built on a strong foundation of education and hands-on experience. I hold:

  • A BSc (Hons) in Sports and Exercise Science from Loughborough University

  • Level 2 Fitness Instructor and Level 3 Personal Trainer Diplomas

  • Level 4 Specialist Personal Trainer Certification

  • CIMSPA and REPs accreditations

I’ve also completed the London Marathon in 2022, a challenge I’m especially proud of given I was raising two young boys at the time. Running that race taught me resilience, dedication, and the power of setting big goals.

Life as a Mum

Being a mum to Lucas and Leo is my greatest joy. Lucas, my inquisitive and energetic five-year-old, keeps me on my toes with his endless questions, while Leo, my affectionate four-year-old, melts my heart with his quiet cuddles. Balancing motherhood and a career can be hectic, but it’s also incredibly rewarding. My boys inspire me daily to be my best self, both for them and for the women I train.

I’m especially passionate about helping women embrace their strength, find balance, and prioritise self-care in their busy lives. From the gym to the kitchen to moments of mindfulness, I believe that wellness is about so much more than physical fitness—it’s about feeling good inside and out.

Beyond Fitness

When I’m not working or chasing after my boys, you’ll likely find me traveling, painting, or baking. Travel is a huge passion of mine; I’ve visited over 40 countries and am always planning the next adventure. During lockdown, I discovered a love for painting by numbers and baking sourdough—hobbies that brought creativity and comfort during uncertain times.
